The Basque Culinary Centre

Desde diciembre recibimos la visita de los alumnos del  Basque Culinary Center en EP. Su profesora, Catherine Montes, no solamente  es su profesora, sino que también es madre de dos niños aquí en el colegio.

Los alumnos de Basque Culinary nos han impartido talleres de nutrición, alimentación saludable, además de prepararnos un desayuno muy sabroso y nutritivo.

Parte de la programación de Ciencias Naturales se centra en que los niños adquieran hábitos alimenticios saludables y tomen decisiones informadas cuando se trata de alimentos. Nuestros niños han aprendido sobre macro y micros nutrientes, vitaminas, minerales y la importancia de comer bien. Los alumnos de Basque Culinary impartieron los contenidos de forma dinámica y amena. Realmente lo disfrutaron.

Para rematar, se les obsequió con un maravilloso desayuno al final del taller.

Since December we have received visits from the students of the Basque Culinary Centre in primary. Their teacher Catherine Montes is not only their teacher, but she is also a parent of two children here .

The Basque Culinary students have given us workshops on nutrition, healthy eating as well as making us a very tasty and nourishing breakfast.

Part of the Science Curriculum focuses on children acquiring healthy eating habits and making informed choices when it comes to food. Our children learned about macro and micro nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and the importance of eating well.  In class with the Basque Culinary students, they were taught in a dynamic and entertaining way. They really enjoyed it. 

To top it all, they were presented with a wonderful breakfast at the end of the workshop.
