St. Patrick’s English School uses the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) model to identify strengths and weaknesses in its constant quest for quality.
The EFQM model rests on the following premises:
"Customer and employee satisfaction, and positive social impact are achieved through strong leadership, clear policies and strategies, the involvement of people in the organisation, and the development of partnerships, resources and processes aimed at achieving excellence in the organisation."
Total Quality depends on effective management and the improvement of processes. Therefore, all our teaching and non-teaching staff are engaged in the continuous improvement of processes to guarantee the success of the school and the satisfaction of families.
School activities are broken down into separate processes and projects managed by independent teams, which promotes individual accountability and commitment. We have set into place a robust management system with reliable indicators, ensuring that teams have the requisite information and resources.
In 2010, the school received the "Silver Q" award by the Basque Government for management excellence.
We are committed to improvement and innovation in order to best serve pupils and to this end hope to enjoy the support and trust of families.
