Primary 6th's visit to the Guggenheim

First of all, they had a guided visit around the temporary exhibition "Making Africa": Here they learnt how little we really know in the West about such a large & diverse continent. They saw how a variety of materials which we generally discard, can be combined to create interesting results when the imagination is engaged. 

Following the visit the children participated in a workshop based on what they had seen in order to design a bag. 

Although it was only a short visit, hopefully some children will be inspired to return in order to discover what else is on offer at the Guggenheim, Bilbao.
