Cultural Talk for 2nd Eso

On Monday the 2ND ESO students were treated to a Cultural Talk given by Pearson Longman publishers in the auditorium. The second years were listening to Michael Brand as he gave an entertaining talk on ‘The British Sporting Boom’.

Michael’s presentation was fun and interesting as he talked us through the rise and rise of football, rugby and cricket and how Britain has become driven by sports. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to explain why we haven’t won an important sporting event for a long time in any of the three sports ;-)
