Science and Biology in class 3B E.P.

We learned more about body cells, tissues, organs and systems. Later, we were allowed to examine their instruments in detail and investigate our eyes, ears and throats. We checked our heart rate by using a very effective method known only to doctors and then we checked out their really cool equipment. 

Towards the end of the class, we learned how to put on a bandage properly - which was extremely impressive. Some children went home with a bandage on their hands, legs and even their heads.....

N.B. We would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all of the parents in class 3B. We didn't mean to give you such a big fright, but we couldn't help it. As Oscar Wilde once said: I can resist everything except temptation!

Thankfully no one really needed a bandage yesterday.

At the end of the session, Danel Goicochea together with prefects Lander Borrero and Blanca Marquiegui presented our very special doctors with a little gift to express our thanks and to show our appreciation.

By being able to interact with people who work directly with the human body, we have been given the occasion to ask questions, satisfy our curiousity, open our minds and deepen our knowledge in this area.

Thank you again Xabier and Oihana, for coming into ur world and opening it up. You shall always remain in our organs!
